ABSTRACT
What are legal research methods and legal methodologies? Methodology is often one of the most confusing parts of dissertation research for students, at all levels, and tackling methodology can cause anxiety even to a more seasoned researcher. There is no reason why it has to be a daunting or a boring task though. There are many different ways of doing legal research from doctrinal to theoretical. This chapter introduces different legal methodologies and approaches and how to engage with them.
