ABSTRACT
There is a statutory scheme governing ‘trusts of land’ under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (‘TLATA 1996’) dealing with trusts of land. That is the focus of this chapter. The previous chapter considered the creation of trusts over the home and disputes about whether or not parties had rights. This chapter considers trusts over land once they have been created and their operation thereafter, as governed by the Act.
