ABSTRACT
This newly added chapter provides an introduction to occupational crimes. We offer examples of common occupational crimes from Ponzi schemes, embezzlement, and fraud to the ever-evolving use of technology to commit technocrime and cybercrime. Throughout the chapter, we share current examples of how the rise of cryptocurrencies and other global events such as COVID-19 have become fertile grounds for new forms of occupational crimes.
