ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses how essential it is for a leader to be authentic with who they are. Leadership begins with knowing who you are and believing in yourself first and foremost. You cannot lead others if you cannot successfully lead yourself first. Leaders who lead with authenticity know their personal vision, character, and values, and have a solid belief in themselves. In addition, leaders who lead themselves well inspire others to do the same.
