ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses how a leader must know their path in order to move forward. Each person has their individual skill set that is to be honored and celebrated. But, stay on your path. You will not be a successful leader if you try to emulate another person who is on their path. Learn from others, grow from others, but stay firm in the foundation of who you are and what you are called to do. Your staff, students, and community will know from the beginning if you are being true to you long before you do. Leaders who do their best work do so by staying on their path and becoming an expert on what they do best.
