ABSTRACT
Case is a category of nouns. It is one of the fundamental ways in which Bangla conveys meaning and expresses relationships between the differents parts of a sentence. We have made the considered decision to postulate four cases in Bangla: nominative, genitive, objective and locative. In the following sections we look at the particular features of each of these four cases.
