ABSTRACT
This chapter elaborates and explores our newest system illustration, roles in our person-as-a-system, which we introduced in Chapter 3 (see Figure 4.1). This illustration emerged after we were confronted with how we had mismatched theory and practice around the role of personalizing. We introduce our newer theory of role-systems that we developed by exploring our roles in our person-as-a-system. This has led us to think about roles as role-systems leading to our exploration in this chapter of role-system theory and its impact on the way we think about systems-as-a-whole and our systems-centered practice.
