ABSTRACT

The venue for walking and bus tours is the route, which must be carefully planned for interest and accessibility. To attract visitors the event must be packaged with the needed lodging and eating establishments. Venue is a broad term used for any type of building or outdoor area where tourism events take place. Events might take place in a building specifically designed for the purpose or a building designed for another purpose. Nontraditional venues are spaces that were designed for other purposes than events. Managers of nontraditional spaces are interested in hosting events as they are an additional source of revenue. Potential visitors are attracted to the main focus or core of the event. The organization must decide how important food is to the event. If the event is promoted as including a gourmet dinner then more expensive menu items will be expected.
