ABSTRACT

In the introduction, the current state of knowledge on the ambidexterity from the strategic perspective, a research gap, and the premises for undertaking the research problem is presented. Despite the intensity of research in an area of ambidexterity, the ambidextrous strategy is still an original and cognitively interesting issue, as the results so far have been ambiguous and fragmented, and many questions still remain open. I define the research problem here and present the aims of the monograph including theoretical, methodical, and cognitive ones. In line with these aims, the structure of the monograph is described.
