ABSTRACT

This chapter consists of two texts. The first text is Should the sex trade be legalised? Legalisation of the sex trade challenges many individuals’ values and rights. This article looks at the nature of the sex trade in contemporary China and explores the arguments for and against legalisation and invites readers to form their own opinions. The second text is Homosexuality in China. This article discusses past and present attitudes towards homosexuality within Chinese society, as well as the changes in government policies. It also explores how some homosexuals approach marriage in China.
