ABSTRACT
“Seiri” (sifting) and “Seiton” (sorting), which are often called “2S”, are the basis of “monozukuri” (conscientious manufacturing). Even though everyone is fully aware of this fact, the reality is that there are so many companies indicating poor 2S. Therefore, this chapter describes why poor 2S is a big problem and how it can be improved. By referring to it, please work on 2S improvement in your company.
