ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a detailed insight about how blockchain can improve the implementation of the latest technologies like Cloud, artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things by filling the gap of a missing factor of trust so that enterprises can understand and implement the use of this technology in operations at a wider scale. Blockchain development becomes more difficult when intermediate parties participate. Blockchains extend the support for the construction of trusted code that can be embedded into the system securely. An extensive range of applications and rapidly growing diversification will provide employment opportunities for developers. Blockchain is capable of establishing a clarification about the origin, understanding, transparency and explanations of the outcomes as well as decisions provided by AI. The data systems that are currently being used by government agencies and bodies are distinct from each other, hence, implementing the blockchain-based solution will be very useful in simplifying the operations of government.
