ABSTRACT

More so than today, it used to be that older people were respected because they had a sense of perspective and a degree of wisdom. Bearing in mind that not all perceptions are of the same substance, let the reader map out the territory they will traverse on the journey to maturity and wholeness. The physical world is the most constrained and the more abstract worlds have increasing degrees of freedom. Especially, courage, hope, faith, and love are attributes of higher worlds of perception. As the people develop personal maturity, the power to move between worlds of perception becomes properly ours, giving the reader the ability to choose where that wellspring will arise. The road to maturity requires that the people take that hero's journey in some form or other, according to their predilections and the opportunities that present themselves.
