ABSTRACT

It is evident enough, from the details given in the preceding chapters, that every one of the Tswana tribes is composed of people drawn from many different stocks. The range of peoples now found among them can best be shown by a comparative Table, which incidentally will also indicate in how many of the tribes each of the different stocks occurs. This Table incorporates all the available evidence: census returns, affiliations of ward-heads, subdivisions of wards, etc.
