ABSTRACT
Shouldn’t we do more to correct the power imbalance afflicting PA theory and practice? I suggest a corrective program incorporating a relevant theory of PA reform. Relevant are layers of phenomena now virtual strangers in traditional PA thinking. Relevant is Dominique Laporte’s analysis of civilizing as a kind of bathing.
