ABSTRACT

This chapter explains the multiple elements of the Famulari Theory in further detail. The green research and sciences cross a range of fields – including phytoremediation, virology, horticulture, biology, earth sciences, chemistry, and other fields. It is the combination of them which captures the totality of the Famulari Theory. The focus of this theory is specifically on viruses, and more specifically on the influenza or flu virus, due to its common occurrence, spread, scale, and availability of vaccines. Destruction of the center of the flu virus structure, the genome, renders the virus non-infectious. This can be done by UV light or certain chemicals that target nucleic acids. The flu virus requires a living host in order to replicate, and cannot replicate while in the air or landed on a surface. The Famulari Theory applications are for the more immediate virus which is expelled from sneezes and coughs, including those that are airborne, circulating through the air.
