ABSTRACT
This chapter reflects on the main arguments made in this book and the contribution to the field of security studies that they make. This chapter then turns to the future disease threat that pandemic and seasonal influenza represent. It reflects on the way in which the operational logics identified in this book may become adapted as a result of our advancing knowledge of the molecular construction of pathogens such as this.
