ABSTRACT

One day, in 1988, on the production of Signs of Life in Maine, I body-doubled for actor Vincent D’Onofrio, even though he is about eight inches taller than me. It was one of his first big parts. Years later, D’Onofrio had gone on to become a well-established, well-regarded actor and I was one of the film reviewers for https://IndieTalk.com" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">IndieTalk.com and Home Media Entertainment magazine. I found myself reviewing his feature writing-directing debut, a micro-budget horror-musical called Don’t Go In The Woods (2010). It is not a very good movie in the conventional sense but I kind of liked it.
