ABSTRACT

The internal investigation by examiners from PwC investigated violation of the Working Environment Act in Norway, where law violations can have financial motives. The review report on the Energy Recovery Agency in Oslo Municipality was presented by the audit firm PwC on Friday. On behalf of the city council department for environment and transport, PwC conducted a study of working hours, procurement, and employment in the energy recovery agency. PwC comments on the recruitments of employees: In PwC's assessment, there is not sufficient documentation in the agency that the regulations for ordering, hiring outside the qualification principle and lack of information have been followed. As the influence on the mandate from PwC seems to have been great, it can therefore be questioned why no changes were made that would have benefited the result in terms of responsibility for deviance among key personnel in the agency.
