ABSTRACT
This chapter works out elements of Günther Anders’s theory that can inform a Marxist-humanist, critical theory of communication.
This chapter proceeds by discussing the relevance of Anders’s concept of the Promethean gap (Section 7.2) and his analysis of broadcasting (Section 7.3). Section 7.4 draws conclusions.
