ABSTRACT

This chapter builds its narration upon prophetic GÇ£methodology.GÇ¥ It is argued that the statehood of Daesh as well as its political and religious system are a direct emanation of the rules coming from the Golden Age of Islam. It says that it is a result of a research project funded by the National Science Centre in Poland and it attempts to understand the significance and specificity of online magazines in IS's campaign in cyberspace. The chapter sys that th project concentrated on identifying the methods of propaganda exploited in the magazines of Daesh Dabiq and Rumiyah. This work also aimed to understand the types of argumentation utilised in the content of these magazines, as well as the means used to trigger the emotions and behaviour of their readers. Finally, it explains how Islamic State's propaganda adapted to the new circumstances of the post-territorial period.
