ABSTRACT
All academic research is an ongoing conversation. The people contributing to it are unique individuals from all backgrounds, each with their own individual perspective. And when a newcomer picks up the conversation and engages with it, he or she brings his or her own unique interpretation of it. We present a guide to the conversation (how to access it, how to use it etc.). The past two decades have revolutionised the way in which the conversation is stored and accessed. The volume of published research has expanded exponentially. A strategic approach to using this research is more essential than ever.
