ABSTRACT
Mexican theatre director and playwright Claudio Valdés Kuri founded Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes in 1997 in order to put into practice his interdisciplinary vocation as an actor, musician, and cinematographer. They are best known for creating theatrical pieces through intensive laboratory processes leading up to unique, interdisciplinary performances that defy traditional theatrical conventions by incorporating music, dance, film, and visual arts in surprising ways.
