ABSTRACT

In this chapter, Minolli takes on the essential task of expounding as best he can the theoretical, epistemic, and Weltanschauung assumptions he started from. In an increasingly globalized world, not only in finance but also in communications and ideas, it is useful to explicate one’s point of view, not only for the writer but also for the reader. He stresses the Weltanschauung; in fact, the subjective mentality is the most important part, the one with the greatest effect on the development of the discourse. It is not easy to have a clear idea of one’s perspective and also to communicate it clearly. More often than not, the Weltanschauung is comprehended a posteriori. The effort made undoubtedly renders the task easier, but only through contrast does one gain enlightenment.
