ABSTRACT
This chapter gives tips for drawing feet, shoes, and boots. Guidelines for placing the feet in relation to the body are discussed to ensure a balanced figure. Pared down sketching methods and tracing techniques are explored for bare feet and toes. Tracing techniques are recommended for rendering detailed feet. The parts of a shoe are discussed along with how they interact with the foot and floor. Step-by-step methods for drawing any shoe or boot are demonstrated.
