ABSTRACT

Through the system (N, 0) an issue regarding what representation means in socio-cultural and political realms emerges if this model were to be applied. If Articulation theory models the subject-wise projection of context appropriate identities and the relations that they obtain with respect to others within those contexts, then relating these subjects by their representative positions within these matrices of identity provides a field in which identity theory and its concomitant ethical and political implications can be studied.
