ABSTRACT
Parents who participated in Center programs are acknowledged and described. They are highly educated and economically advantaged. They are typical in that they want the best for their children and want to be the best parents they can be. They experience parent-child relationship problems and their children have developmental difficulties. The mother-child groups and parent consultations in which Parenting and Childhood Memories originated are outlined.
Parenting and Childhood Memories was accepted for publication by Routledge on February 28, 2020. The coronavirus erupted in the United States during February 2020. The impact on parents and their young children, an event unparalleled in our lifetime, is discussed.
