ABSTRACT
Chapter 7 provides concluding remarks on the role of the courts in upholding the democratic rule of law. The chapter examines in this regard the lessons to be learned from the United States Supreme Court failure in Whole Woman’s Health et al. v Austin Reeve Jackson, Judge, et al. to intervene to enjoin a statute that clearly thwarts the exercise of a constitutional right affirmed under current United States Supreme Court case precedent.
