ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book focuses on people’s interactions with digital technology in various aspects of their lives. The book explores specific contexts of users, their nuanced goals, and alternative interpretations of standard practices to get an in-depth understanding of digital cultures. It emphasizes that the way in which people balance their quest for convenience with their need for privacy will deeply influence the nature of usage of digital technology in the future. The book develops a more inclusive approach toward digital transformation.
