ABSTRACT
Closing the book, this chapter considers whether there is a future for global development. And, if there is, what might be the key priorities and concerns facing global development policy makers and practitioners? Beginning with a reflection on the chances of meeting the SDG targets by 2030, the chapter then turns to key concerns ranging from climate change to geopolitics, decolonising development to international cooperation.
