ABSTRACT
Sexual deviance is another pathway to sexual offending. It is often misunderstood or misinterpreted. This chapter will describe the diagnoses that encompass sexual deviance, as well as the role of fantasy in sexual crimes. Other issues addressed include typologies of offenders and the non-sexual elements of sexual deviance.
