ABSTRACT
The offender uses various tools to influence the perception and decision-making of the audience, moving the audience to disbelieve victims and avoid holding the offender accountable. This chapter will explore how offenders weaponize elements of the human condition, like biases, social rules, or egocentricity to obscure their true motives.
