ABSTRACT

The first question about whether to shoot with more than one camera might be, “Why not?” Two short answers: it costs more, and adding cameras often involves some kind of compromise. There are times when using a second camera, or more, is the exact right thing to do, will improve your scene, and will make your shoot go faster. But there are other times when shooting with more cameras can slow you down and hinder you rather than help. Let's look at both sides of that coin and explore the considerations about when and why to employ more than one camera.
