ABSTRACT

In a busy school it is easy to skip over training, but it is essential if the intervention is to be effective. The resources are all provided to make the training as time-efficient as possible, and it should take approximately one and a half hours. It is advised that all school staff who are involved in the intervention are trained together, including the class teacher and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. This will ensure that all fully understand each other’s roles, which then lays the foundations for close teamwork.
