ABSTRACT
CoATT scripts built by and for people living with aphasia reflect the ways in which CoATT manualization can be easily adapted for a unique recovery population. The script for The Gift demonstrates a structure that both supports treatment goals for participants working on speech goals and opens into thematic and personal material that furthers psycho-social goals for participants. The chapter presents a brief discussion of treatment as usual for aphasia and positive results for speech therapy treatment goals with CoATT. CoATT productions for people living with aphasia require attention to adaptive theatre and accessibility alongside fidelity to the model for research purposes.
