ABSTRACT
This chapter examines how residents describe their current neighborhood conditions compared to historical accounts. Included are several contemporary photographs of neighborhood conditions. This chapter draws data from semi-structured interviews to represent residents’ feelings about changes in violence in their neighborhoods.
