ABSTRACT

Here the concept of anti-work is identified and defined. Eighteen tenets are introduced, having been refined from anti-work writings. While the tenets are overlapping, taken together they paint a fairly complete picture of the nature of anti-work. The reasons for the primarily negative framing of the tenets are provided. In addition to the tenets, the goals and structure of the book are presented, along with three important questions that readers can keep in mind while reading in order to better understand their own particular and unique reactions to the ideas and facts presented.

Anti-work is introduced, including its basic premises.
