ABSTRACT

Writing a marketing research survey that starts with deciding on the questions and answers and includes layout issues and testing. The survey may go through many drafts before it is finished. Deciding on the right answers to provide is as critical as writing the questions. The length and layout of the survey should be designed to encourage completion. The survey can be conducted personally by a trained survey taker. It can also be self-administered by the participant. While previously done on paper, surveys can now be conducted using technology.
