In my opinion, capitalizing on culture is a huge market opportunity for online curriculum stores. First, in my experience, there is comparatively little curriculum out there that focuses on culture and does it in an effective and practical way for students. Second, if we create materials that focus on culture, those materials can often be used by teachers who are teaching units that may have much of their unit protected by intellectual property law. Culture, as a concept, is generally far more open. (Of course, a quick consult with a legal professional is never a bad idea. Remember: there are often opportunities to ask questions like this free of charge!)
