ABSTRACT
Now let’s talk about your original materials—the main event! Some teachers are dissuaded from opening an online curriculum store because they (mistakenly) think that what they create isn’t “fancy” enough. When I think about all of my current and former colleagues, I can count the ones who make “fancy” lessons, handouts, and projects on the one hand. I’d be counting to a pretty high number, though, if I counted the number of colleagues who created fantastic, educationally relevant, clear, and/or creative materials.
