ABSTRACT
This chapter will look at Puberty and Adolescence from the perspective of what young people need, mostly from their parents, but also from society, at his psychosexual stage. In doing so, it will encompass issues such as self-image, sexual identity, consent, physiological and psychological changes, the effect of pornography on adolescents and the inadequacy of current sex education in UK schools.
