ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the decade between the 34 and 44, when established relationships become challenging. Boredom in relationships and sexual dissatisfaction are explored together with infidelity, sexual experimentation, divorce and the ‘Freedom Illusion’, a specific term in Sexual Grounding Therapy. The role of parents and parents-in-law in modelling a lasting relationship and a blueprint for what is involved in a lasting relationship is included.
