ABSTRACT
Based on all research findings, this chapter provides an in-depth discussion about the recent trends of Chinese family immigration. This chapter highlights the key findings from the research, associates these findings with the broad contributions of this book, and reflects the new trends of Chinese family immigration to the vastly changing global situation of new Chinese diaspora on move. The chapter also touches upon the implications of this research for transnational migrant families in a world rendered largely immobile by the novel coronavirus. Future research directions exploring how transnational families might live and maintain their familial well-being are also identified.
