ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the authors apply the principles of good writing and preparation to the tasks of a social work professional. The authors introduce technical aspects found within different areas of practice and explain writing in charts and producing effective process recordings and field notes. Sections in this chapter address writing client assessments, report writing for macro practice, and writing clinical notes that may be used for all levels of social work education.
