ABSTRACT

Marvin Weisbord stated that “to implement effectively the peoples need a shared picture of ‘whole system’—future vision, values, policies and procedures in a global context.” This requires an organization to have a vision, values, and mission statements shared and understood by all. Individual cultural actions are the list of individual actions or activities that senior management may choose to implement as part of setting the culture within organization. These individual actions can be both a motivator or, if implemented poorly or not at all, a constraint. The people change management program can necessitate a great deal of effort in its own right and will have many activities and tasks that must be integrated with and form part of overall BPM project plan. The plan should obviously contain all the steps involved in change program, responsibilities, and delivery dates. It must include steps specifically designed to show how the organization or business unit proposes to unfreeze, change, and refreeze the organization.
