ABSTRACT

A Demigod in classical mythology is the offspring of a god and a human, who retains part of the god-like powers perfectly encapsulated in a human-like shape. In our mythology, the divine part is the metaphor for AI, granting inhuman powers (strength, magic, and so on in the classics; access, information, data, and knowledge in this one of ours) but perfectly integrated in a human shape. The Knight lacks the integration and fusion of the Centaur and the identification of the Demigod, and thus does not reach the heights in speed, strength, stamina, resolve and synchronization the other two can. However, the Knight can do what the others cannot: exist without their machine counterpart. Distant from human empathy and with little ability and desire to experiment, the Minotaur has instead great attention to detail and can work extensively on implementation of tasks and details, tuning systems and bringing focus to concepts, and fitting evidence into current systems and structures.
