ABSTRACT

With the acceleration of digitalization due to COVID-19, Human Resources (HR) has been on the front line to help organizations evolve, and for some of them, to finally bring them into the era of the fourth industrial revolution. In the upcoming era of constant and lifelong learning, HR leaders will be in charge of organizing and building the capabilities of the organization’s workforce, starting with building up their own function’s capabilities. Leadership relying on credibility and credibility building on the pertinent use of valid, unique and privileged information, HR leaders must first learn how to compose with flooding data flows and bring meaning and coherence to the wells of available knowledge. Besides, “as technology exponents, HR professionals have to access, advocate, analyze and align technology for information, efficiency, and relationships”. HR leaders must integrate and leverage technology, understanding how it strengthens the organization – its image and brand (outside) and the network of its own social relations (within).
