ABSTRACT

Brookfield’s reflective theory suggests that as practitioners the people need to reflect using four different lenses and it is all four lenses of Brookfield’s theory are thought to give the reader a different perspective of a situation, an activity or an event that will inform their practice and allow the people to reflect forward. There are several theoretical reflective theories that could be applied to the people professional practice, to be used as part of their thinking during a working day but moreover each theorist can be used for the people to begin to plan, draft and write their reflective accounts. Reflecting upon professional and vocational practice supports the people in approaching and preparing their critical reflections and it is hoped that it is in journey that they can begin to see and feel the value of a training and academic studies.
