WHEN Rosella rejoined her friend, she learned that a circumstance had occurred to urge the continuation of their journey immediately, and wondered exceedingly what event of importance could have reached her in the space of ten minutes; but recollecting how much her friend sometimes amused her imagination with suppositious affairs, she concluded it was one of those fabulous exigences which had more than once in the course of their tour guided her motions.
