ABSTRACT
We started this book with Jason’s story, and it seems right to return to Jason now. I’d like to think that some of the strategies in this book, in the hands of schools with great leadership, could have helped him escape from the intergenerational cycle of disadvantage and changed the course of his life. I’d like to think that the strategies will be helpful for other children, too.
